Level Ground Trading's Marketing team is a co-operative, communicative, forward-thinking & positive environment where hard work and innovation are valued.  The Marketing team is responsible for the Level Ground brand image and ensuring our strategic marketing plans are being executed on.

Job Overview

The Creative Strategist position is responsible for all creative development and execution at Level Ground.

Creative Development

  • Leads graphic design/photography/videography development
  • Prioritizes and adjusts workflow for creative development working with multiple stakeholders
  • Works directly with external vendors on creative development to support Level Grounds marketing channels
  • Adheres to style guides and brand standards
  • Develops, approves, and tracks all packaging updates
  • Regularly checks on Level Grounds brand presence, assuring all material meets expected standards

Digital Media

  • Social media design
  • Leads website design updates


  • Manages existing listings and updates as needed
  • Adds new products to GS1

 Marketing Support

  • Works in the internal ERP system to understand the impact of marketing tactics'
  • Attends events or tradeshows as needed on Level Ground's behalf
  • Works with the marketing team on special project deployment

Role Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
  • Understanding of print ready files and colour needs
  • Marketing theory & branding

Roles Assets

  • Understanding of the context of CPG & Speciality Coffee industries
  • Social Media Saavy; social trends & success factors
  • Project management in Asana
  • Experience in data analysis
