Roast Level: Dark 4/5
This dark and balanced blend packs a punch and a distinct flavour profile with notes of toasted pecan, dried fruit, and dark chocolate that combines all the delicious coffee flavours East Africa is known for.
Why is there a bike on the package?
No matter what country you’re in in East Africa, bicycles are a staple. In big cities or remote countryside the bicycles in Africa put Amsterdam to shame. African bicycles transport anything and everything, including fresh milk to be pasteurized and you know it - coffee!
Certified Fairtrade, organic, and small batch roasted in Victoria, BC.
A local retailer stopped selling this coffee so I had the last bag remaining that had the sellers name so I tracked them to order direct. I wouldn't have bothered if I hadn't loved the flavor. Thanks for being on the Level.
I have recently bought and tried both their Ethiopian and Columbian coffee beans, but didn't quite land on my ideal morning brew. Then I went through the coffee choices quiz. It directed me to East Africa blend. Wow, gangbusters, my eagle has landed! Wonderful rich flavour, no bitterness, dark but not too overwhelmingly so. My quest is over at last.
Full flavoured, balanced and smooth coffee. Thank you.
I’m not the coffee drinker but the rest of my fam is . They love the coffee , I buy it because if the Fair Trade business model 👍
Before finding Level Ground I was struggling to find the perfect brew. I bought a new Italian grinder and didn't find much of an improvement until I finally happened to buy some of Level Ground's East Africa! From the very first sip I was hooked. This was everything I wanted in a coffee.
