TANZANIA

Roast Profile: Dark

Tasting Notes: Wild, charismatic, rich

A wild, complex cup of coffee that comes from one of the most storied origins in East Africa – Tanzania! Dried fruit, chocolate, and hazelnut with a sweet clove and pepper flavour profile. This coffee is fantastic in a drip brew, but a hit in a French press.

Certified Fairtrade, organic, and small batch roasted in Victoria, BC.

Tanzania coffee beans have been our exclusive coffee for the last 15ish years. The only I have is that the beans are oilier than in previous years. This requires diligence in unclogging the coffee grinder. However overall love the flavour and not willing to change bean. Thanks to all the staff at Level Ground, you have been most helpful on many occasions.

The best of the best

I discovered the TANZANIA coffee while shopping at a local '10,000 Villages Store. Wow! The stores closed forever, so tracked down the source. I've been waiting for the Tanzania beans for a long time. I love most of the Level Ground coffees, but this is the best of the best. Don't let the dark roast scare you. Bliss!

Best coffee so far for me

I got a few favorites (Tanzania, Ethiopia) but all in all there was no roast that disappointed. The only disappointment is I don't find it at Costco anymore. I need to find where they're selling it in LML at the moment.

We have been drinking Tanzania Fair Trade coffee for many years and we love its smooth taste. Level Ground roasters are great the coffee arrives quickly and packaged well. Thank you,
Sam and Liz

A bold flavour we’ve been looking for since Costco discontinued the similar product
