Fair Trade Earl Grey Tea

Assam black tea and bergamot oil dance beautifully together. Bergamot oil is an essential oil extracted from the bergamot orange.

Small-scale tea growers in Assam, India grow and process their own tea organically at their garden sites. These organic gardens are a haven for birds and microorganisms and the farmers 'entrepreneurship is inspiring.

Farmer Profile: Tea is plucked by hand and processed in small facilities located at each tea garden. Individual gardens employ 5-15 people.

Flavour Profile: Golden and full-flavoured.

Description: A classic cup of Earl Grey made with our orthodox black tea and oil of bergamot.

Serving Tips: Use one heaping tablespoon of loose leaf or a single tea bag for 500ml of boiling water. Brew it a little stronger to enjoy with milk and sugar.

Very nice!

Deep flavour and refreshing, if I feel like a caffeinated tea this perfect, also the loose leaf is my favourite as I add less for a light steep.

My Mom loves this Earl Grey Tea

My Mom is 93 and loves a cup of this tea in the afternoon! It’s smooth and fragrant.

The Best Earl Grey Tea Around

The Earl Grey Tea from Level Ground is the best Earl Grey around. So much so that I buy it cases. I wouldn’t want to run out.

It’s great as regular hot tea, but I’ve also found that steeping it in vodka makes a great enhancer to go with powdered iced tea mix. Just add a few tablespoons of tea leaves to about 0.5 L of vodka. A week later, strain out the leaves and you’re left with an extract that you can add to your cup of iced tea. About a teaspoon is all you need. Enjoy!

Earl Grey

I was very disappointed to find that my favourite tea has changed! It is no longer quite the same. Not sure what has changed but it is a disappointment.
