Peru

Roast Level: Medium 3/5

This smooth medium roast is a crowd favourite with delicious notes of sweet citrus, chocolate and toasted peanut. A long-time single origin (and customer favourite), Peru delivers the perfect cup for those seeking a mellow, lush coffee.

Why is there a llama on the package?

Llamas (and alpacas) are the animals most associated with Peru as a nation and are often spotted on the trek to Macchu Picchu. Due to the region's high coffee-growing altitudes, llamas help manage the steep terrain. They are a staple way of transporting coffee (and everything else) throughout the region.

Certified Fair trade, organic, and small batch roasted in Victoria, BC.

Amazing coffee, and great value

This coffee is very smooth and full of flavor. Thank you for making the 5 pound bag available and offering shipping around Canada. Very happy I found your coffee here in Kelowna!

Medium roast is too dark

I bought this from the whole food near me, I find the medium roast to be very dark, something I didn't pick up by taking a whiff through the vent, but realized it immediately upon opening. The beans are very shiny which is usually an indicator of a dark roast (because of the surface oil) instead of the more matte color that I usually see from medium roast.

Level Ground Coffee Roasers - Peru

You know that feeling, right before your first cup of coffee in the day — the anticipation? Well, it is even better than you might imagine when the coffee you then pour into your mug is Level Ground’s Peru. So good. Xo
