Level Ground’s organic cacao nibs are packaged by a Fair Trade Organization (FTO) in Colombia called Fruandes, whose mission is to provide positive employment for women.
In central Colombia, there is a community of people who are taking a stand for peace. Situated at a cross path of a conflict zone, the farmers are committed to organic farming and have set up a cacao processing facility to provide income for their families and some economic stability in their community.
Description: Intense pure cocoa flavour with a nutty crunch. Cacao is an antioxidant-rich superfood and an excellent source of flavonols. Free from sulphites and preservatives.
Use in trail mix, salads, oatmeal, yogurt, ice cream or in baking as natural chocolate chips.
